The history of Appalachian Signals and Products starts when they were established in 1995. As a family owned and operated corporation, they built their company on the emphasis of honesty and integrity. They are dedicated to becoming your trusted resource and company in the area of safety and security for homes and churches. They then faced the challenge of the unfortunate circumstances of September 11th and quickly expanded into commercial buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, nursing homes, etc.
The owners of our company have a combined the experience of 70 years in the engineering and electronic fields. Renay McBrayer Jarrell started her career in the electronics field before moving into the engineering industry, and she now manages the financial side of A.S.A.P. Randy Jarrell has over 38 years in the industry and leads the day to day workings of the design, bidding, installation, and service of the various services we offer.

Giving to the community is also one of our passions. Our community is very important to us and when a family lost 3 children in a fire, it really struck a cord with us. They didn’t have batteries for their smoke detectors, and we don’t want another family to go without smoke detectors for that reason. We took it upon ourselves to hand out free batteries to make sure others who were in the same situation wouldn’t end with the same fate.
